A deposit confirms your booking once your route is confirmed — $100 for bookings under $500, or 20% of the total for bookings of $500 or more. The deposit is applied toward your final invoice; if you cancel in writing before pickup, 50% of the deposit is refunded and 50% is forfeited. No HST is charged on the deposit itself. Third-party customs broker clearance is billed as a pass-through, never marked up.
